Below are the collected assignments from the Cosmology of Insects class I took in the fall of 2004, which devolved into a rather interesting creative writing class. In case you don’t know, cosmology is the study of the history of the universe and, since the teacher was an etymologist, he naturally presented it from the insects’ perspective ;) All of the numbered items below (the great majority) are comics I wrote regarding the general topic of "take two people back in a time machine" that the teacher started us off with. A few of the puns are related more to in-class topics than others. Otherwise, they should be pretty clear. As one misguided Russian linguist said, "It’s the best history of the universe ever!", so don’t miss out ;) |
